Christmas 2022 saw us returning to the Acorn Centre for a musical feast from sinister Slains, by local composer Joe Stollery, via Schubert's Rosamunde and Florence Price's Dances in the Cane Brakes to finish of with a selection of seasonal classics and blatant Christmas cheese!

This concert marked an important occasion when the orchestra gave the first ever public performance of 'Landscape from a Dream' by Dr. Paul Tierney.
Inverurie Orchestra commissioned the work which took the form of a Percussion Concerto and we were especially pleased to have Len Wiltshire as our percussion soloist.

A Night at the Opera
5th June 2010 - "A Night at the Opera" Inverurie Town Hall.
This was a joint venture with Inverurie Choral Society playing to a capacity audience. Rousing choruses from Carmen, Prince Igor, Orpheus in the Underworld, Il Trovatore and Lohengrin were performed. Soloist for the evening was mezzo soprano Heather Ireson.
