Conductor - Dr. Paul Tierney

Paul Tierney was born in Edinburgh in 1984 but grew up in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. He graduated from Aberdeen University in 2006 and in June of this year was awarded his Doctorate after studying composition at Aberdeen University.

Paul is currently director of Aberdeen New Music group, conductor of The Learig Orchestra and temporary musical director of the Inverurie Choral Society.

Paul has a growing reputation as a composer, singer and conductor, persuing a punishing schedule, and generating a prodigious amount of quality work.
