The Inverurie Orchestra was formed in the summer of 2007 after a public meeting was held to judge the response to such a venture.

The first rehearsal was held on 30th August 2007 with conductor Paul Tierney. The Orchestra now has 39 regular members and is looking to recruit players for the string and brass sections.

The Orchestra meets weekly throughout the school year on Thursday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm. Rehearsals take place in the West Church hall, apart from the 2nd Thursday of each month when we meet in the Acorn Centre.
